Derrick Brown earns top-five ranking among NFL defensive tackles

Derrick Brown of the Carolina Panthers has been named the fifth-best defensive tackle in the NFL by Bucky Brooks at NFL.com. Brown, who has been a standout since entering the league in 2020, is recognized for his disruptive presence in the backfield, especially during his recent season where he achieved a career-high 5.0 sacks. His performance as a run-stuffer has been consistent, with over 65 tackles in each of his last three healthy seasons. With new additions to the Panthers' defense, including Jaelan Phillips and Lee Hunter, there are expectations that Brown's contributions will further enhance the team's performance.
