Desmond Mason faces felony fraud charges related to artwork

Felony fraud charges have been filed against former OSU basketball star Desmond Mason. The charges stem from accusations that Mason took over $50,000 from four victims for promised artwork but failed to deliver. Mason allegedly collected various amounts ranging from $1,300 to $37,500 but ceased communication after receiving payment. This case follows a previous charge in Texas involving a game-worn Kobe Bryant jersey, which also involved fraud allegations. The Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office announced the charges, which include three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.
