Dianté Griffin prepares for Ball State matchup against former team Ohio State

Ball State defensive back Dianté Griffin returns to Ohio Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5, to play against his former team, Ohio State. Griffin spent four seasons as a walk-on for the Buckeyes and graduated from the university in May before transferring to Ball State. The fifth-year graduate senior comes from a lineage of Ohio State players, including his grandfather Archie Griffin, a two-time Heisman Trophy winner. This matchup marks the first time a member of the Griffin family will suit up for an opposing team against the Buckeyes at their home stadium. While Griffin looks forward to competing against his former teammates, he expects his family members in attendance to continue supporting the Ohio State program in their traditional scarlet and gray colors.
