DJ Okoth visits Kentucky for Big Blue Madness this October

Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope continues his recruitment efforts for future classes by hosting 2028 prospect DJ Okoth for an unofficial visit. The 6-foot-6 small forward is scheduled to attend the school's Big Blue Madness event on Oct. 2. Okoth, a five-star prospect ranked 17th overall in the 247Sports composite rankings, recently received a scholarship offer from the program. He currently plays in Tennessee and averaged 13 points and five rebounds per game last season. Beyond his scoring ability, Okoth is noted for his defensive versatility, utilizing a 6-foot-10 wingspan to impact passing lanes and block shots. The Wildcats face competition from several other SEC programs, including Tennessee and Texas A&M, as they look to build relationships with top-tier players in the 2028 recruiting cycle.
