Dolphins place Ronnie Harrison on injured reserve ahead of 49ers game

The Miami Dolphins have placed linebacker Ronnie Harrison Jr. on injured reserve prior to their matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Harrison, who joined the Dolphins this offseason, aggravated a lingering hamstring injury during last week's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He did not participate in practice all week and was ruled out for Sunday’s game. To fill the vacant roster space, the Dolphins elevated linebacker Liam Anderson and edge defenders Clelin Ferrell and Max Llewellyn from the practice squad. Ferrell moves up for the second consecutive week, while Llewellyn is set to make his regular-season debut. Defensive end Chop Robinson is also unavailable due to a concussion.
