Don Callis identifies Mark Davis as future AEW World Champion

Don Callis recently endorsed Mark Davis as the next wrestler from the Don Callis Family to capture the AEW World Championship. During an appearance on the TMZ Sports program Inside The Ring, Callis described the recruitment of the Australian athlete as his most significant career accomplishment. Callis compared the physical presence of Davis to wrestling figures including Bruiser Brody, Terry Gordy, and Stan Hansen. Since joining the group at the beginning of 2025, Davis has transitioned from a tag team role alongside Kyle Fletcher to competing as a singles performer. His previous accomplishments include a stint as the National Champion, which concluded when he lost the title to Andrade. Davis continues to feature as a prominent member of the Don Callis Family faction within AEW.
