Drake Maye hosts successful MayeDay celebrity softball classic at Polar Park

Drake Maye and Ann Michael Maye held the inaugural MayeDay Family Foundation Celebrity Softball Classic at Polar Park on May 31, attended by over 9,000 fans. The event raised funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, yielding a total of $94,000 from donations tied to home runs. Maye participated in the home run derby, hitting six in the opening round and tying with Will Smith at nine. Team Sox narrowly defeated Team Patriots 17-16 in the subsequent softball game, with a comeback effort falling short for the Patriots. The event concluded with players giving away jerseys and signing autographs before fireworks lit the night sky.
