Duke basketball hosts Countdown to Craziness at Cameron Indoor Stadium

Duke basketball will host its annual Countdown to Craziness event on October 3 at Cameron Indoor Stadium to showcase the men's and women's teams for the 2026-27 season. Festivities begin with a free fan festival in the afternoon, followed by player appearances and formal team introductions in the evening. The men's team is scheduled to participate in an intrasquad scrimmage and a dunk contest, while the women's team will conduct a 3-on-3 showcase. This event serves as the public introduction for the incoming freshman class, including Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje, Deron Rippey Jr. and Cameron Williams. Following the event, the men's team will enter a period of exhibition play, including matchups against Belmont, Tennessee, and Kansas, before opening their regular season against Army West Point on November 2.
