England aims for World Cup success with strong squad and coach
Summary

England's national soccer team is generating considerable optimism ahead of the 2026 World Cup, set to take place in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico this summer. With manager Thomas Tuchel at the helm and key players like Harry Kane nearing 70 goals this season, many believe this squad can compete effectively. Historical challenges have plagued England in previous tournaments, such as the infamous losses in 1986 and 1990. Recent performances under Gareth Southgate have raised hopes, reaching the semi-finals in 2018 and showcasing dominance in qualification matches. England's preparations will be closely watched as they aim to end a 60-year drought since their last World Cup victory in 1966.
