Esha Oza leads UAE at home Asia Cup as captain

Esha Oza has been named captain of the UAE women's cricket team for the Asia Cup taking place in Dubai this week. Oza, an accomplished all-rounder, has played a vital role in the UAE's recent success, including reaching the semi-finals of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup, by virtue of which they qualified for the Asia Cup. This tournament marks the UAE's third consecutive appearance and comes with the advantage of home conditions, which Oza believes will be beneficial against stronger opposition. Her impressive performances earlier this year, including being the leading run-scorer at the Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars, underscore her readiness to lead the team.
