A judge has approved ESPN's inclusion as a defendant in a class-action lawsuit against WWE regarding its ESPN Unlimited streaming deal. The lawsuit, initiated by two consumers in January, contends that WWE misled customers following its move to ESPN Unlimited from Peacock in September 2025. Plaintiffs allege deceptive marketing practices regarding the availability of premium live events on the streaming service. ESPN's request to join the case was formalized in March, and the court's decision came on September 18. The plaintiffs have until October 2 to object to ESPN's participation.
