Everton agrees deal to sign Jutta Rantala from Leicester City

Everton has reached an agreement to sign striker Jutta Rantala from Leicester City. The transfer includes a fee, as Rantala has one year left on her contract. Rantala, 26, has scored 13 goals in 48 appearances since joining Leicester from Vittsjo GIK and was the club's top goalscorer in the 2023-24 season. She joins a number of players departing Leicester following their relegation from the Women’s Super League. Everton, finishing eighth last season, seeks to bolster their squad under new manager Scott Phelan, having already made several signings this summer.
