This result adds Aichner to the lineup for the six-way match scheduled for the Bound for Glory event in Tampa, Florida. The event will take place on Sunday, October 11, and already includes KC Navarro as a participant. The championship was vacated by Leon Slater, who invoked an Option C clause to challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at the same event.
