Fabian Duncan scored three touchdowns to lead Johnson C. Smith to a 27-7 win over Albany State on September 6 at the Black College Football Hall of Fame's Clash at the Classic in Canton, Ohio. Duncan recorded two first-half touchdowns and added a third on a 40-yard run at the start of the second half, helping his team build an early advantage. The redshirt junior tailback has now scored four touchdowns through the first two games of the season. Duncan joined Johnson C. Smith this offseason following a stint at Allen University, where he earned Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors in 2025. His performance in Canton followed a three-and-a-half-year hiatus from the sport after graduating high school in 2019.
