Fares Ziam adds Trevor Wittman to his corner for UFC Paris co-main event

Fares Ziam prepares to face Axel Sola in the lightweight co-main event at UFC Fight Night 287 on Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris. To prepare for the matchup, Ziam has enlisted coach Trevor Wittman to lead his corner. The fighter intends to relocate his family to Denver to train permanently with Wittman as he seeks to restart his pursuit of a title. Ziam enters the bout following a loss to Tom Nolan in June, an outcome that ended his six-fight winning streak and dropped him from the lightweight rankings. Despite the recent setback, Ziam maintains he is the more experienced fighter and expects a competitive bout against his fellow countryman. He plans to adhere to a strict game plan against Sola, whom he identifies as a well-rounded opponent with strong wrestling skills.
