Farmington football team prepares with small senior class and eager underclassmen

Farmington High School's football team is gearing up for the season with a small senior class and many eager sophomores and juniors. Coach Toby Vallas reports about 80 players in the program, with only three offensive and four defensive starters returning. Senior linebacker Garrett Perkins noted the competitive spirit among younger players vying for positions. Freshman quarterback Carson Noy, who threw for over 2,200 yards last season, will lead the team as they aim for a playoff qualification for the 11th consecutive year. The Farmers kick off their season against Havana on August 21.
