The Chaires Capitola Little League team from Tallahassee is competing against Tennessee’s Nolensville Little League today at 11 a.m. in Warner Robins, Georgia, for a chance to advance to the Southeast regional championship. Chaires Capitola won the Florida state championship on July 27, defeating Lake Mary, the defending champions. The winner will face Alabama for the regional crown on August 11. The Little League World Series begins on August 19 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
