Florida running back Jadan Baugh exceeds 2,000 career rushing yards

Florida junior running back Jadan Baugh surpassed 2,000 career rushing yards during the team's season opener against FAU. Baugh carried the ball 14 times for 160 yards and three touchdowns in the contest. With this performance, he becomes the 20th player in program history to reach the 2,000-yard milestone, bringing his career total to 2,003 yards through 26 games. He also recorded his sixth career 100-yard rushing game and now holds 18 career rushing touchdowns. As an underclassman, Baugh previously became one of only three players in team history to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season. He is now moving up the Florida record book in both rushing yards and total touchdowns, sitting within 75 yards of three other former program backs.
