Floyd Schofield has big career goals as he looks to make a run at undisputed in two weight classes. | Getty Images Floyd ‘Kid Austin’ Schofield spends some time talking to Fight Hub TV about his recent inactivity, looking forward to a world title shot, still wanting some big name opponents, and more. Check out some excerpts of what he had to say below. Schofield on whether he’s still looking to fight Tank if he wins this title “Me and my dad, we’re looking to fight [William] Zepeda because that’s a unification that we can make, then I could go clean up the rest of the belts. But I’m not going to lie, if Tank did come back and was like ‘I want that fight, I want that belt back’ I have no problem because he’s the so-called boogeyman. Like I’ve always been saying, you get Tank on your record, you beat Tank, there’s not a lot people can say. But until then, I’m looking ahead. I’m looking to collect all the belts at ‘35 then going to ‘40.” On what fights he wants at 135 “If I can’t get Zepeda, I do want [Abdullah] Mason. I want Zepeda, Mason, and Gary Russell because I gave Gary Russell my word. So those are the three I want before I even think about going to ‘40.” On still wanting to fight Shakur Stevenson “For sure, because I’m going to get a belt. Whatever weight class he in, I’m going to get a belt at that weight class. That’s who I want before I finish my career. I’m going to show them how to deal with that type of style.”
