Foley senior Brody Kipka wins St. Cloud Times player of the year

Foley High School senior running back Brody Kipka has been named the 2026 St. Cloud Times pre-season player of the year. Kipka secured the honor following a fan poll in which he received 3,927 votes. Sartell fullback Jonah Ambrossier finished in second place with 3,535 votes, while no other candidate surpassed 450 votes. A three-sport athlete and two-year captain for the Falcons, Kipka recorded over 1,200 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns last season. His previous campaign included a notable 230-yard performance against Apollo. Kipka and the Foley team are scheduled to begin their regular season on September 3 with an away game against Glencoe-Silver Lake.
