Forest Green Rovers winger Joshua Osude sustains ACL injury

Forest Green Rovers winger Joshua Osude will miss eight to 12 weeks after sustaining a partial rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament. The injury occurred after Osude slipped while exiting the shower. Manager Robbie Savage confirmed the incident occurred on Tuesday morning, noting that the player had been a key contributor for the side during the early stages of the season. The 27-year-old featured in all five of the club's National League matches to date. He contributed to the team's record during that span, including scoring a goal in a 2-1 victory against Worthing. Osude is now expected to remain sidelined for at least two months while he undergoes recovery.
