Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Arthur Marshall dies at age 57

Arthur Marshall, a former wide receiver for the Denver Broncos and New York Giants, has died at age 57. According to reports from Georgia, Marshall passed away following a battle with stomach cancer. Born and raised in Hephzibah, Georgia, he played college football at the University of Georgia before entering the NFL. Marshall signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 1992 and spent his first two seasons in Denver, where he recorded 853 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was later traded to the New York Giants, where he played for three additional seasons. Over his five-year professional career, Marshall accumulated 2,303 all-purpose yards and scored six total touchdowns.
