Former quarterback Trent Green supports Indiana University football program

Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Trent Green visited Indiana University this week to participate in the unveiling of a new Dr Pepper Fan Wall of Fame at the Alumni Hall building. Green, a former Indiana Hoosiers player who competed under coach Bill Mallory, expressed his continued support for his alma mater following the team's undefeated national championship campaign last season. During his interview, Green recounted witnessing the team's postseason run, including their 38-3 victory over Alabama and the semifinal win against Oregon. He credited the program's recent momentum for changing his perspective on the team's capability to contend for national titles. Green remains involved with the university and recently gathered with former teammates to celebrate the success of the 2025 squad, which featured quarterback Fernando Mendoza and offensive lineman Kahlil Benson.
