Former Saints receiver Ronnie Bell joins the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad

Wide receiver Ronnie Bell signed with the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad last Thursday. New Orleans waived the 26-year-old following final roster cuts last week. Bell previously spent time on the Saints practice squad in 2025 and participated in training camp this year. During his final preseason game for New Orleans, he recorded six catches on seven targets for 65 yards in a 27-24 win against the Dallas Cowboys. The Raiders, currently coached by former Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, are scheduled to play in New Orleans on September 27. Bell would require an elevation from the practice squad to the active roster to face his former team in that Week 3 matchup at the Caesars Superdome.
