Frankfurt pursues Stade Rennais defender Brassier this summer

Eintracht Frankfurt is seeking to bolster its defense by pursuing Lilian Brassier from Stade Rennais. Talks are reported to be underway as the Bundesliga club looks for a new central defender this summer. Brassier, a 26-year-old regular starter last season for Rennes, is under contract until 2029. Rennes is said to be open to allowing his departure, but negotiations are ongoing. Frankfurt is also considering AJ Auxerre's Clément Akpa as another defensive option alongside Brassier.
