Gage Lohr commits to wrestle for Oklahoma State University

Watertown High School senior Gage Lohr has committed to join the wrestling program at Oklahoma State University. The announcement, made on September 4, 2026, marks a shift in college plans for the four-time state Class A champion, who had previously made a verbal commitment to South Dakota State University. Lohr holds a 156-5 career record for the Watertown Arrows and is looking to become the program's first five-time state champion during the 2026-27 season. His previous seasons included state titles at 106, 120, 138, and 157 pounds. Oklahoma State, a consistent NCAA Division I contender, finished second in the 2026 national championships. Lohr joins a program that has historically produced 148 individual champions.
