The Galax Maroon Tide, led by Head Coach Travis Reed in his second season, look to improve after a challenging 2025 season that ended with a 0-3 record and a forfeit due to safety concerns and low turnout. Their 2026 schedule begins on August 28 against Craig County and features notable matchups, including games at Montcalm, WV, and at Carroll County in early September. The team aims to regain competitiveness and make a playoff push after missing out last season. The upcoming season marks an opportunity for a fresh start as they work to attract more players and enhance safety measures.
