Gateshead centre-back Ben Williams has signed a new one-year contract with the club. The 21-year-old made 15 appearances during the 2025-26 season, having joined Gateshead's academy from Sunderland. Williams signed his first professional contract in 2024 and spent part of the year on loan at Ashington, competing in the eighth tier. The extension allows him to continue his development with the Tynesiders.
