The New York Giants have claimed defensive tackle Ben Barten off waivers from the Jets. Barten, who is 6-foot-5 and weighs 330 pounds, previously played for the Giants before being cut in July. He replaces Daniel Faalele on the roster. During his senior year at Wisconsin, Barten recorded career highs of 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. The Giants initially signed him as an undrafted free agent in April 2026.
