Giants’ placekicking competition features Ben Sauls and Dominic Zvada

The New York Giants are evaluating a placekicking competition this summer between Ben Sauls and Dominic Zvada. After moving on from Graham Gano and releasing veteran Jason Sanders, Sauls has prior NFL experience while Zvada is an undrafted rookie. Both kickers have shown improvement in practice, with Zvada going 7-for-7 and demonstrating long-range ability, hitting from 50, 53, and 62 yards. Sauls also performed well, making 5 of 6 kicks. Special teams coordinator Chris Horton emphasized the need for technique and consistency, acknowledging the challenges in transitioning between different kickers during the operation.
