Golf Digest launches podcast series featuring business discussions with industry leaders

Golf Digest debuts a new podcast titled The Real Deal with Bob Philion on September 15. The series focuses on the business side of golf, featuring interviews with prominent athletes, executives, and industry figures. Bob Philion, who previously served as President and CEO of Cobra Puma Golf and Puma North America, hosts the program to examine the behind-the-scenes decision-making and relationships within the sport. The premiere episode features two-time major champion Greg Norman. Future installments include conversations with TaylorMade CEO David Abeles, instructor Butch Harmon, and sports agent Mark Steinberg. The podcast will be available on the Golf Digest website, the publication's YouTube channel, and various major audio platforms. Philion intends for the project to explore the career-shaping moments and business deals that have historically influenced the golf industry.
