Granville football secures win against Tri-Valley with fourth-down defense

Granville defeated Tri-Valley 24-21 in a dramatic finish on August 28 at Jack Anderson Stadium. Tri-Valley's comeback attempt fell short when All-Ohio running back Leevi Wade was stopped one yard shy on a fourth-and-short with just over a minute remaining. Granville held a commanding 24-7 lead at halftime, fueled by touchdown passes from quarterback Jackson McMillan to Luke Bosse and Carter Rhyan. Despite costly turnovers by Granville that allowed Tri-Valley to close the gap, the Blue Aces' defense ultimately preserved the victory. Granville prepares for a home game against Johnstown next week.
