Great Bend senior Cooper Ohnmacht prepares for final high school football season

Great Bend senior Cooper Ohnmacht enters his final high school football season with ambitions of securing a state title. A standout performer on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and safety, Ohnmacht has committed to play for Kansas State next year. Head coach Erin Beck attributes his performance to a combination of athletic ability and a competitive drive. After reaching the state semifinals last year, the team fell to Salina Central, marking their only loss of the season. Ohnmacht and his teammates are currently preparing for their season opener against Scott at home this Friday. The Great Bend community is described as supporting his transition to the Big 12 level.
