The Cleveland Guardians displayed poor hitting in their game against the New York Mets on August 4, leaving 29 runners on base. Jo Adell was a standout performer, leaving no one on base, while several other players had significant missed opportunities, including Bazzana with 7 and Hoskins with 6. The Guardians could not capitalize against Mets pitcher Kodai Senga, who entered the game with a struggling record.
