- 8:10 PMCageside Seats — Some good news from Gurv Sihra about that lung injury he suffered on the indies
"A month ago Gurv Shira, the wrestler most of us knew from his time in WWE as Sunil Singh, shared that he was “lucky to be alive” after the injury he suffered at a Pure Power Wrestling (PPW) event in Alberta, Canada. Teaming with brother Harv (fka Samir Singh) as The Bollywood Boys in a Tag title match against reigning champs The Brand (Shaun Martens & Sydney Steele) on Sept. 19, Gurv did a move he said he’s done for years. This time it left him struggling to breathe. The Shiras finished the match and won the belts, but that was the last thing on his mind while at the emergency room a little later. In a positive update today (Oct. 21), Gurv posted the following on the official Bollywood Boyz’s X account: The road to recovery continues 💪🏾 X-Rays show my lungs are back to normal & there is very little air bubbles left in my chest-cavity from the collapsed lung I still can’t fly at the moment, however, I should be cleared soon 🙏🏽👍🏾 Thank you all for your continued love & support.
