Hana Moll ascends to No. 1 in World Athletics pole vault rankings

Hana Moll of the Washington Huskies is the new world No. 1 in women's pole vaulting as of September 18, 2026, following her impressive performance at the World Ultimate Championships in Budapest, where she earned a silver medal. She became the first collegiate to win the Diamond League, achieving a personal best of 16-1 1/4 (4.91m) in Brussels. Moll tied for first in Budapest but placed second after Sandi Morris cleared the height on her second attempt. Her twin sister, Amanda Moll, ranks No. 12 in the world after winning the NCAA Outdoor title. Both sisters are among the youngest athletes in the top 30 rankings.
