Harry Kane highlights goal record as Ballon d'Or contender

Harry Kane, the Bayern Munich striker, is among the top candidates for the 2026 Ballon d'Or after an exceptional year. He scored 61 goals and provided seven assists in 51 matches for Bayern, which secured a domestic treble. Additionally, he netted six goals for England, including during the 2026 World Cup, where the team finished third. Kane has emphasized that his impressive tally of 73 goals is a testament to his performance and does not seek personal promotion like other contenders. The award ceremony is scheduled for October 26.
