Houston Texans sign international offensive tackle Max Pircher to practice squad

The Houston Texans signed offensive tackle Max Pircher to their practice squad following a workout on September 2. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Italian native joins the team through the NFL's International Player Pathway Program. Pircher previously spent time with the Los Angeles Rams, where he earned a Super Bowl ring, as well as the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Commanders, and Minnesota Vikings. Because of his status as an International Player Pathway participant, the Texans are permitted to carry Pircher as a 17th player on their practice squad. He remains a developing talent who has yet to see regular-season action on the field.
