Ibrahim Mbaye completes medical tests ahead of Aston Villa transfer

Ibrahim Mbaye is nearing a transfer to Aston Villa from Paris Saint-Germain after completing his medical examination. The 18-year-old Senegal international is expected to sign his contract on Sunday, finalizing a move valued at approximately €55 million. Mbaye departs Paris Saint-Germain following a career that included 42 first-team appearances and three goals in Ligue 1 last season. The move occurs alongside the departure of teammate Bradley Barcola, who is finalizing a separate transfer to Liverpool for a reported €145 million. Despite the exits of Mbaye and Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain retains a core attack that includes Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Désiré Doué. Paris Saint-Germain looks to recover from a pair of opening league draws when they face AS Monaco on September 4.
