Idaho women's soccer defeats South Dakota at First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex

Idaho defeated South Dakota 1-0 in a women's soccer match Thursday night in Vermillion, South Dakota. Alyssa Hamilton scored the lone goal of the game at the 33:15 mark to give the Vandals the lead. South Dakota goalkeeper Cambell Fischer kept the team within reach by recording three saves, including a stop on a penalty kick shortly before halftime. Despite the Coyotes launching 15 total shots and putting five on target during the second half, Idaho goalkeeper Paula Flores held the shutout to secure the road win. Idaho moves to a 4-1-1 record on the season while South Dakota falls to 2-3-2. The Coyotes return to the field Sunday for a match against Drake at home.
