Ieuan Davies seeks UFC contract following Cage Warriors championship win

Ieuan Davies is pursuing a contract with the UFC after capturing the Cage Warriors lightweight world title in June. The 30-year-old Wrexham native holds an undefeated 8-0 professional record, including six submission victories. In his most recent bout, Davies stopped Omiel Brown with a rear-naked choke in 61 seconds. The former British Army paratrooper previously considered returning to military service during a period of injuries and cancelled fights in 2025. Now training under Tom Blackledge at Fighter Blueprint Academy in Wigan, Davies aims to become the eighth Welsh fighter to compete in the UFC. He remains committed to continuing his fight career until he secures a spot on the UFC roster.
