Iliman Ndiaye joins Manchester City as Enzo Fernandez deal proceeds

Iliman Ndiaye has completed a move to Manchester City from Everton for an initial fee of £60 million. The Senegal forward signed a five-year contract after Manchester City hijacked a competing attempt by Tottenham to sign him. This acquisition pushes the club's summer spending beyond £300 million. Manchester City is now moving toward a potential £125 million deal for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez. Everton had initially pursued Jack Grealish as a replacement for Ndiaye as part of a complex series of negotiations that also involved Tottenham and Richarlison. Ndiaye, who previously joined Everton from Marseille for £15 million, cited the move as an opportunity to compete for top honors.
