Indiana State and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods volleyball teams complete weekend tournament play

The Indiana State volleyball team finished the Western Michigan Tournament with a 2-1 record, highlighted by a victory over Green Bay and a loss to Western Michigan. Sycamores player Ava Robart led the offense with 12 kills during the Saturday sweep before Kira Holland recorded a double-double in Sunday's match. Meanwhile, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods improved to 14-0 after sweeping its four matches at the Showdown in the Woods. The Pomeroys did not drop a set throughout the tournament, defeating both Alice Lloyd College and Wright State-Lake on Sunday. In soccer, both the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods men’s and women’s programs fell to William Woods on Saturday. The men's soccer team next hosts Clarke University, while the volleyball squads prepare for upcoming invitational play.
