Infielder Peyton Cleary commits to Oklahoma State for the 2028 season

Peyton Cleary, a top-100 infielder from Liberty North High School in Missouri, announced her commitment to Oklahoma State on Sunday. The shortstop visited the program in late August before deciding to join head coach Kenny Gajewski’s roster. Cleary is the first player to pledge to the Cowgirls for the 2028 recruiting class. This addition follows a busy offseason for Oklahoma State, which added five players through the transfer portal including Delainey Everett and Kendra Lewis. The Cowgirls are currently reshaping their roster after their 2026 season ended in the NCAA Super Regional round. The program holds six commitments for the 2027 class, which remains eligible to sign this November.
