Iowa football updates on Vonnahme, Moulton, Phillips ahead of UNI matchup

Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz updated injuries for DJ Vonnahme, Kamari Moulton, and LJ Phillips on September 15. Vonnahme is doubtful for the UNI game but may return for the Big Ten opener against Michigan on September 26. Moulton's status is uncertain after a physical game against Iowa State, where he is the team's leading rusher. Phillips is recovering from a lower leg injury but appears to be progressing. If both Moulton and Phillips are unavailable, Nathan McNeil and Xavier Williams will see increased opportunities in the backfield. Defensive back Tyler Brown is also making strides in recovery but may not play against UNI.
