Italia T10 cricket set for inaugural season in November 2026

Summary

Italia T10 Cricket, Italy's first city-based franchise league, is scheduled to take place in Rome from November 7 to 15, 2026. Six franchises will compete in the tournament, which features the fast-paced T10 format of ten overs per side. The league, backed by the Italian Cricket Federation, aims to develop the sport domestically and will stream matches live to over 30 countries. Founded by former players Nadeem Shahid and Aamir Akhtar, this initiative marks a significant step for cricket in Italy, coinciding with the sport's return to the Olympics in 2028.
