Jacksonville Jaguars sign Tommy Akingbesote, waive Devon Marshall

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed defensive tackle Tommy Akingbesote and waived cornerback Devon Marshall due to injury. Marshall, who played in the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, was an undrafted free agent competing for a practice squad position. Akingbesote, a former seventh-round pick, is joining the team in the final week of training camp, as the Jaguars prepare for joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Akingbesote could see limited playing time in the upcoming game on August 28, especially with fellow defensive tackles Albert Regis and Keivie Rose missing practice on August 23.
