Jacksonville State running back Jalen Likely is expected to return to the lineup this week after sustaining a hand injury during the win over Eastern Kentucky. Head coach Charles Kelly indicated Tuesday that the injury is not long-term, though the player's practice participation will be monitored throughout the week leading up to Saturday's kickoff against Ohio. Likely left the Eastern Kentucky game in the second quarter after recording 73 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Jacksonville State saw its ground production dip in the second half of that game following his departure. Caden Creel and Cedric Kouemi handled the bulk of the remaining carries in his absence.
