Jacob Stoyanovich records multiple touchdowns in South Lyon football victory

Junior Jacob Stoyanovich led South Lyon to a 35-14 win over Walled Lake Western in Lakes Valley Conference play on Thursday. Stoyanovich, recognized as a five-star kicker, contributed in multiple facets of the game, rushing 20 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he recovered two fumbles, returning one for a 40-yard score. In addition to his offensive and defensive duties, he recorded six touchbacks and converted five extra points. South Lyon coach Jeff Henson cited Stoyanovich's physical versatility and toughness as vital to the team's ability to maintain a late-game lead. The performance keeps South Lyon at 2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
