Jaguars' defense shows promise in preseason opener against Saints

In their first preseason game against the Saints on August 17, the Jacksonville Jaguars' defense exhibited notable improvement. Ruke Orhorhoro led the defensive line with three pressures and a sack, while Albert Regis also recorded a sack. Other contributors included BJ Green and Danny Striggow, who combined for three pressures and a sack, and rookie Wesley Williams, who made an impact against both run and pass. The performance raised questions about the consistency of the Jaguars' pass rush, which ranked low last season. The Jaguars aim to build on this strong showing as they progress through the preseason.
